honda CA77 petrol filter

Hi,
I made a new petrol filter for my honda CA77.
To do this I used a Stainless Steel Woven Wire Mesh, compass and scissors.
I hope it will be useful to others.

I think that we are all going to have to improvise as our bikes get older and parts get scarcer.

At the moment I am working at doing a 3D print of the aluminum horn casting -- mine was broken in a collision. It will be made of thermoplastic but the state of the art allows, I think, things like the various engine castings to be reproduced. This is probably the way of the future for suitable parts.

Has anyone done anything like this?

Not yet. I'm looking for a 3D scanner to scan in the broken part. I'll re-post when I have something.
