Running rich??

This is what the manual says

That's all good.
Your tool design is not what HONDA uses.
What carb does this show as this pic doesn't show the CUTOUT at the side and that is where you are to measure yours from.
The HONDA tool is a sort of "Wide "U" and is used right to left OVER the FLOAT.
Not along the SIDE.
That is the reason for the CUTOUT with this carb. ..................lm

I got my info from Bill Silver, however, I may have misunderstood the diagram. So you are saying I should take my measurement from where the red arrow is showing?

I figured that the original tool would go over the floats because one could be higher or lower. When I originally measured mine, I just checked both sides.

You are welcome JIM.
Not all of these carbs have that level cut in.
Just depends on the engine HONDA installed them on. ...............lm
