63 CA77 Battery bracket

The stock battery bracket does not fit well over the recommended replacement battery. The battery is slightly too big. So I guess my question is: Does anyone know the battery size that would work best on my 63 Honda Dream?

we will need pics to help you. 63 is a transition year from early to late batteries. they do not interchange at all. sounds like you need an early battery.

The long, thin JB-2 battery went into 1965. The battery change started with frame 1010863 along with the change in side cover and tool tray per the parts fiche.
