Hi,

YES, You're good. And, looking at the glasses, these seems a bit sharper, however the winkers are the same. From what country is this dream ?

The guy who made the web page is Finnish. I know that's no guarantee but maybe they were for the Finnish market. Yes you are right about the shape of the glass.

The attached picture is my 'parts bike' before the previous owner stripped it and threw away the frame. The winkers are in place.

Thanks for sharing the pic and as I see the Clutch Cover isn't a 1961/62 issue. ..............lm

The bike picture above (with reverse cone meggas) is the parts bike I got with my main project. That bike is a little later than the main bike with a later frame number and 1962 on the wire harness. That bike had been messed around with quite a lot so it doesn't surprise me that it has some odd parts.

The main bike, which I stripped down yesterday is like opening a time capsule. The drive chain and sprockets look like new and the generator looks like it has just been fitted. I'm intrigued that its says 61 - 12 on the wire harness but has '62 engine and frame. Did they do like the Brits and build 'next years model' from the summer of the previous year?

I cannot wait to get inside the engine. I suspect that the bike has done less than 5000 miles before it was laid up.

Lots of corrosion around but the generator looks great.
