I think dealers must of done some other things to make buyers happy.I know a fellow local that still has his dads Dream that was purchased new in 64' and he had the dealer swap the red gas tank and side covers onto the white Dream he wanted and the dealer did it for him.That same dealer is still alive and in business here in Pa.

It was my understanding that blue was only offered up here in Canada but I could be wrong. LM is correct (as always) :) Most dealers would let you pick the color seat you wanted for your Dream.

I am a real fan of the blue bikes, I have a blue C72, a blue cb72, and a will have a blue CL72. (and a blue S90, which was only sold in Canada). My understanding is that about 1 out of 10 bikes was blue and they didn't sell very well. Most of the blue bikes had either light blue seats on them, or red seats, but dealers would accomodate you with black if you wanted it.
