yeah i dont plan on making it 100% origional. i just want it to look as good as i can with what i got. So ill be getting rid of the dumb sticker he put on the front fender and I already took off the Chrome bead from the seat and will either fix it to the bottom of the seat or get another seat thats correct.lrutt wrote:Cylinders were never black, nor the black highlighting on the points cover.
What is the chrome band on the back side of the front fender? I can't figure it out and it's not original.
Nice mufflers though, that's a big plus.
Chain guards weren't chrome either.
As far as the Ground on the pivot bolt , Brewsky, yes i believe that is, was like that when i bought it. does it go somewhere else?
I went to bike night at the motorcycle parts shot in town and it was def a hit. Thanks for the comments, complements and suggestions guys!!

The ground strap is supposed to be completely behind the left cover. A pic in this thread:
