The correct tires are 3.25-16 front and rear. Not sure the rim size, maybe 2.15

Coker sells the wide whites in the correct size.

.
I have a set of Coker whites on my bike the tire looks good but I don't like them on grooved cement roads the tires follow the grooves.

Dr Frankenstein

You need to have rims that are matched to the hubs or the spokes will not line up. I hear that Buchanans in the US will dimple and drill rims for you. Davomoto has contact details, I believe.

In the UK, Central Wheel Components will make them up but they would be an expensive option for you. Their web site is quite informative though.

The Dream wheels are similar to the 16 inchers used in the Ariel Arrow and Leader of the same era

Dr. F - Apex Cycles can set you up with spokes and rims that you lace onto your existing hubs. If I remember correctly, rims and spokes for both wheels runs around $180 with shipping..

Do not count on the Apex rims being drilled to the correct spoke angles. Regards, Chase

I bought a set of new rims from ohio cycle a few years ago. Don't know if they still sell them.

I also bought stainless spokes from Buchanon. Had no problems lacing them.

The rims from Apex are stamped "Takasago 1.60x16 2002 J 16 x 1.60" ... so you're saying they aren't going to work?

The width, diameter, and number of spoke holes can be correct, but that will not signify the angles that the holes are drilled to. Different diameter spoke circle dimensions on the various hubs that can be used with that size rim will control the angles accordingly. Any of the rims that I've used from Apex were drilled for relatively small diameter hubs, so when using them with the larger diameter hubs (as on the CA), the spokes will have a bow in them, since the spoke nipple is put into a bind. I'm not saying that the Apex parts are not correct nowadays, but it's something to watch for. Usually, Buchanan can supply the properly drilled rims, if they have current availability. Regards, Chase
