The number denotes a 1964 bike. ................lm

The number ya show is the Engine number and that "E" denotes ENGINE.
The frame number will be different and "No E". ........lm

I've read that the E meant there was a small change to something which put around 65 or later right before they changed it to CA78. Thanks again on the compliments.

slick looking bike, that color isn't too far off of my superhawks color (pictured below)

but that means someone had it apart at some point. Check to see if the engine and frame numbers are within a few hundred of each other to see if the engine and bike were originally paired.

I feel bad painting a CB77 one of those classic car colors, but in my opinon, the styling of the dream is just asking for that old chevy teal
