I'd say go for it. The port-o-walls are such a great value considering you can reuse them when you get new tires. I think they were something like $27 for all four from Universal Vintage Tire. Tell your husband to take my word for it. They are worth it if you want white walls.

Thanks everyone, I bought the port o walls and my tires are being shipped out today. I am getting very very excited... like a little kid right before Christmas.... lol
