Dream coil picutre

Hi Conbs,
I have the later type coil.

Tinman, Both of the small wires on the coil were gone as was the entire wiring harness.
The wiring diagram answers my question. I'm going to make a copy of it, it will really help in the restoration. Thanks,Mike

Mike, this is the type of coil I'm running. As you look at it, the two blade connectors are to the left. The top connector is where the hot black wire will connect and the bottom is for the green wire that runs to the condensor. Molded on top of the coil case is a "+" sign (at least on mine there is) adjacent to the blade connector. Hope this helps.

One side of the coils is hot (12dvc) the other is ground. Hook the wires up either way and connect a plug wire to a spark plug. Manually "flick" the points and see if you get a spark at the plug. If you get a spark you are okay to go. If you don't get a spark switch the wires and try again. The coil fires both plugs at the same time -
