What do you want Seadog the website for Overlander mufflers or an explanation on the baffle ends.
Details about the baffle end modification and the address of the forum where the mod is discussed, please. I'm guessing that the ends are cut off the standard baffles and inserted into the Overlanders, which have been drilled to accept baffle mounting bolts. I don't know if the muffler opening needed to be modified. Thank you.

Ok Seadog let's see if I can give you some answers here. Firstly the forum where I got the idea was a guy who just said he had approached an engineering company to see if they could make something that looked like the original baffles as the Overlander mufflers are just open at the end with inbuilt baffles.
So that gave me the idea to have a local exhaust shop see if they could make me something.
I bought some 35mm stainless tube that was a snug fit and took it to them you can see the result.
I don't know the size of the OEM baffle ends but I would think the original baffle ends would be smaller. I drilled the Overlander muffler and drilled and tapped the inserts 5mm.
Hope all this helps.

LM

The overlander mufflers have built-in baffles and the rear end just looks a little unfinished. Making a piece that fits the end and makes it look like a regular Honda baffle is the aim.

Now I got it.
About 10 years back I had a owner give me a set of the ones made in Australia.
I liked to not get them to fit the bike then setting the carbs was a true pain.
Then he wasn't able to pay the cost so I sold it for him and gave him the difference when I had my money. ..................................lm

Do I understand you correctly, LM, the Overland mufflers made it difficult to set the carbs?
