My Stuck Pistons SOLVED

Unfortunately the pistons I thought were CA77 are CB77.

All is not lost, though - I have found one CA77 STD piston.

Will keep looking.

I Think Standard-size CB77 pistons ARE 60mm...aren't they ?

They are indeed but the crown design is different from CA77 and might lead to a lower compression ratio.

That said, I do have some high compression ones.....

Let me rummage a bit more.

This is what I have. CB77 pistons in LC and HC. One CA77 Piston in the middle.

Cb77 pistons need to be tested with CA77 head but, if they clear, they should be OK.

Not perfect, but what is these days? :-)
