which side does the bolt/ground wire go?

as you can see here, there was a small notch cut out of the frame to fit the carbs.
i'm going to be putting the carbs back in this week and i'll post a pic when its all jammed in there

J, did you put some kind of gusset in where the air filter used to go to strengthen your frame? Interesting conversion.

not worried about strength, only small bit is gone

G'day jimpapa

Wow, that sure will be an interesting hybrid when completed - you'll have to keep us all informed how it goes.

If that cut out of the frame isn't reinforced, I'd be a little worried about the loss of strength and rigidity in that area - even though the engine will provide significant bracing.

Maybe as conbs suggested, possibly a little gusset wouldn't hurt? Anyway good luck with the project - keep everyone posted. Can't wait to see how it looks and goes.
