CA77 / CA78 ?

Post by Onemilewest » Sun Apr 08, 2007 10:55 pm

I am new to motorcycle restorations and I picked a Honda. I have been doing some research, but can't find my answer just yet. I bought an advertised 1965 CA77. I just went to put the title up and noticed the Vin started with CA78.

Question: Does this mean that I have a 78? If so, what is the difference in the 77 / 78?

Thanks for the help.

Welcome. No difference.I think everyone that has one of these refers to them as CA77's.I believe the 78 was added in 63' or 64' to the frame/VIN#.Have fun with your Dream.I do.
