serial # question

Post by barrentinec » Sun Jul 15, 2007 9:29 pm

I just recently acquired a ca77 that has been sitting outside for the past 11 yrs or more. The title has been lost long ago and the state i am in is allowing me to register it and is going to make me a new title but I need the serial #. I have been tearing it apart for the past few days now and cant find where it is located. So does anyone know where or if it may be etched on the frame. I have the engine serial #. If someone out there knows where it is located could you please e mail me at: barrentinec@yahoo.com. I am sure i will be frequenting as my restoration process has just begun and is going to be a long hard one.
