Enamel Badges?

Post by houseowax » Sat Jan 23, 2010 9:18 am

I have a '63 CA77 that appears to be mostly stock, although I'm still new to this game and learning as I go. The advice I've gotten on this site - both directly and by lurking - has been invaluable.

Almost every discussion of tank badges centers around them being warped or crazed because they're plastic. Mine are enamel- black and white. I assume they're aftermarket, but I can't find a definitive answer. I'm not attempting a complete restoration, but I like to know as much as I can about the bike and it's history.

The chances are good that you have the OEM HONDA badges issued after the bikes had finished the production run. ............lm

Thanks, LM.

Just to clarify- these were issued at the end of the year ( end of 1963) or the end of the model's production run ( which was what, 1973?)
