Thinking of manufacturing new front fender packing...

Post by Kevmcp » Wed Apr 14, 2010 5:23 pm

Most of them are missing on the Honda Dreams. I found an old one. I am considering getting a mold done and manufacturing some. Is anyone interested in pitching in to get them made? Apparently they really help in dampening the cracking and damage on the fender. I am also considering getting the mud guard on the bottom made as well, those are often missing. Let me know if we can gang an order.

I think the black ones are already being repopped. what isn't being done yet is a repop of the early gray ones. make some gray ones--- I'll buy em.
Thanks

Randy, where have you seen the black ones, because I haven't been able to find them anywhere...

I'd be in. Previous owner painted over mine (and the horn- what, turning two nuts was too much trouble?) I saw a fender packing on eBay and considered it, but $40 seemed a touch high for a strip of rubber, especially since mine is still functional.

Anyhow, I'm definitely in.
