Quick points question

Post by paperslammer » Thu Jul 01, 2010 1:51 pm

Just making sure:

I need to take off both A and B to do the timing with the points, correct? The little book says "right side crank case cover" and I'm guessing that's what A is.

Also does anyone know the bolt sizes that hold plate A on? Mine have been stripped like crazy and I may have to drill them out :(

Thanks!

btw this is not my bike, just a picture from the internets

Ah I think I found the screws on this site

It is part number 9370005016
(93700-050-160A) SCREW CROSS 5X16
Note: this part is superseded by 93700050160A.

How can I tell if this part is JIS or metric?

Thanks!
