oil capacity
I have a '63 CA77. Does anyone know how much oil should be put in after draining? I have an owners manual for a '65 and it lists 1.6 liters (1.7 qt) completely overhauled. The dip stick that I have has 3 notches on it. All that the owners manual says is "notch C" and has a picture in black and white. Can someone advise me?

Oil level measurement
Ha! I NEVER knew if you were supposed to screw the dipstick in, or measure it just touching. I guess I should've asked long ago! Thanks Loud Mouse - I've been running my Superhawk 1/2 qt. low all these years!!!

Most things Honda are this way. Quads, mowers and so on. Not just a 305 thing.GG wrote:Ha! I NEVER knew if you were supposed to screw the dipstick in, or measure it just touching. I guess I should've asked long ago! Thanks Loud Mouse - I've been running my Superhawk 1/2 qt. low all these years!!!
