The state of colorado says that in order for a vin check to be done on a motorcycle it must "look
like it could run" is what I was told by the lawman...(mostly complete). Well I took my 65 ca77
down to the local PD today for the second time..The first time is when I learned that I cannot take
just the frame and engine for a vin check...I had the old registration that I found on the bike during
the resto-It listed the title number and the registration and listed the year as 67-after running both
the frame number and the engine numbers with "no record found" they issued me a colorado certified vin for this bike and listing it as a 65 CA77.

Hi Hippykid.
Cool seat. Is that from a CA95? Much modification required? I'm just curious about solo seats for my restoration and seeing what other people have done.
