Can anyone tell me the exact year of my 305 dream? I am almost finished with a beautiful restoration and am not sure what year to apply for title. My engine#CA77E-1026722 body#CA78 1026837 Any help would be appreciated.

Probably a '66.......look on the wiring harness tag above the carb for a production year.
vin numbers for '65-67 models are all lumped together.

thankyou so much. never knew there was a year on the wireing harness. says it's a 65 but i think your correct in assuming it's a 66. the clutch cable aims forward from the case opposite of my sons 65. thought mabe it was in the case backwards but the cable wouldn't reach the handlebars any other way
