Finally finished

Well I think Im finally finished with my 65 CA77. It was a nearly 6 month restoration. This next Monday is our first local car show and I plan on entering and having a blast that day...I am sitting here trying to figure what it cost for this rebuild...With the purchase of the bike and the resto but no labor(I spent nearly a hundred hours on this bike) I came to the figure of $1905.00. I plan to put
this bike up for sale this weekend and I am going to ask $5000.00 and wont take a penny less than
4000. Leaves a bit o' room for haggeling(or not). I have no plans of giving this bike away and I will roll her back into the shop and look at it every day before I do that...Thoughts?

I am just curious, why would you sell it?

I bought a 1963 rusted out basket case, and I have put some serious time or money into this project. Maybe if I were doing the project to flip it, I wouldnt have spent the countless hours nor this amount of money on it. I am redoing this bike so I can RIDE IT!!! I don't know if I will change my mind later, but as of right now, I plan on keeping this dream for a very long time.

I'm sure you have your reasons, but I am just curious. It looks like you have put a lot of sweat into this bike. Ride it for a while..... ENJOY IT!!!!!

KL-I bought this bike with the intentions to sell it and fix up its smaller sister-a 1966 CA95. I have a restoration business on the side and I live to restore motorcycles. My true motorcycle loves are
mid 70s Yamaha Enduros and Trials bikes. I have over 90 motorcycles and life is never boring....

I was wondering about that. (meaning if you were the type of guy who fixes bikes and then moves onto another project ) My husband loves to tinker like that too, but we don't have that kind of time or space. He has a 1942 Indian Brave, and a 1966 Harley Sporty, as well as a 2002 Road King. I have, dirt bikes, and a 1965 CA95, and I am building (ok correction) I am supervising......the build of my CA77. I originally wanted a white CA95, but ended up finding a deal on a black on that I couldnt pass up. So, then after riding that bike back and fourth to work and back (on sunny days), I decided to go a little bigger and I picked up the 1963 Dream. (this one WILL be WHITE!)

You did a great job on that bike. Someone will be very happy!
