Picked-up a Late 65 Black 305 Dream in Phoenix a couple of weeks ago.
I had a 67 White 305 Dream back in 68 when I was 16 and ended-up riding it to Mexico
and back from Ft Worth during the summer. Put right at 9K miles on that 67
in one year and sold it for $5 more than I paid for it and and bought a new 350 when they 1st
came out. My older brother had a 66 Black 305 Dream also
Anyway, the journey now begins to make it as best as I can with what I have to work with
It'll be the end of Sept before Coker tires has the correct whitewalls back in stock.
BTW, I've been reading several comments on the Coker Firestone tires and the perfomance of them
Would I do better to go the Kendra/Portawalls or what???
Any and all suggestions and recomendations would be greatly appreciated.
I really don't want to wait until the 1st of Oct to be able to actually ride this bike out of my neighborhood. (I don't trust the tires on it now and don't feel like meeting the pavement)
I also have a GL1800 that's my driver...
Will add some more pictures when I get some small enough to upload.
Here's a link to a rather large photo that I used Flickr to post a link to
I sat a seat off a Valkyrie and a travel trunk I got last year on it to see what it'd look like
I'll prolly stay with the stock seat set-up and the vintage luggage rack that's already on it.

Very Nice Bike! No so sure about that trunk....
I have 2 options on tires for you. Heidenau tires made in Germany. 3.50x16 for $156 a pair shipping included. I also have some Cheng Shin tires in 3.50x16. Those are $100 a pair shipping included.
These are the Heidenau tires.

Prolly put the "Portawalls" on them and at least create the illusion of whitewalls.
