Anyone have experience with the Firestone 3.25-16 black-wall tire? 80/90/16 equivalent. Took the plunge and bought one for the rear....going to try and keep the front Nitto for awhile until I find a good deal on whitewalls...finding these is nuts....you would think these would be plentiful.
Thanks
Steve

I have 'em on mine and they seem fine. Tread pattern gets the bike a little squirrely on roads with the drainage striations but nothing too bad.hondadreamca77 wrote:Anyone have experience with the Firestone 3.25-16 black-wall tire? 80/90/16 equivalent. Keeping it to sell to someone who is doing a museum piece is a good idea......riding on a 45 year old tire is not!hondadreamca77 wrote:going to try and keep the front Nitto for awhile until I find a good deal on whitewalls....

The rule of thumb for tire shelf life is 7 years.
