I just bought another dream and the petcock was leaking what looked like out of the bowl. The bowl did have a hairline crack in the bottom. once that was fixed i put it all back to gether and still leaking. Bought the rebuild kit, still leaking. Come to find out its leaking through all three screws. Im wondering if all three have the wrong thread. they seem to thread in fine and tighten down. but gas is still leaking through. Is there a gas resistant epoxy i can use on them? Any suggestions? Im thinking of coating the screws with kreem and installing them right away, hoping when it sets up it seals????
thanks
steve

yes, theres a paper gasket, then the mount, then a rubber gasket for each screw along with a washer and lock washer. All three are dripping. maybe just some blue lock tight?

Let me clarify, i was talking about the aftermarket setup. I did not however try a rubber gasket with the "stock" petcock. I just had the crush washer on each of the three screws. I did the original petcock rebuild correctly and it leaked out of the three screws even with using the aluminum washers, but maybe i need to use something different.
