Okay just got a Honda Dream - CA77 - Engine #1026969 - 12VDC -

Anybody know what year?

Welcome to the forum Don.
What part of Texas are you in I ask because there is allot of us in Texas that can help.
Also look for the frame vin # thats will get the correct your of you bike.

Finally found the frame number - CA78-1025922

I was told that in 65 or 66 they went to 12VDC.

All the wet sump Dreams are 12V (1960). Yours would appear to be built in 1966 for DMV purposes.

But, what is important is your engine number for engine parts and your frame number for everything else. Honda made running changes so in the parts book, the part you need will correspond to those two numbers.

How do you get 1966 from this 'CA78-1025922 ' frame number?
