More Side Cover Woes - Clarification Help Needed

I ordered a left and right side covers from eBay. I ended up with two right (coil side) covers, one early model with a slot for the clutch cable and one late without the slot. Now I need to find a left (battery) side cover, but am confused. The battery tray on my '64 is barely 3 inches deep. Is that early or late? Which cover do I need and how do I tell the difference so that I don't get the wrong one?

Could anyone please provide pictures of the two different left side covers and help me understand which one I need?

According to the Part Manual here are the Part# and matching CA77 Serial #

Part# 83500-259-000z Serial#: CA77-10001 to CA77-1010862
Part# 83500-271-000z Serial#: CA77-1010863 to the end of production

Thank you for those part numbers. I'll Google them. I ended up buying a left side cover that was advertised for a 1961, which should have fit, but when it arrived, it was for the later model. Luckily, I was able to return it fo a full refund. Still on the hunt.

The very late Dreams had the thicker battery and the left cover was made deeper to fit over it. The tab is also shorter (narrower) and that is probably the way you will be able to tell. I have attached pictures of both.
