Yes LM 11th century. Tickhill castle near Doncaster. UK.

I don't recon I can match the background as not many castles on this side other than Hurst Castle on the California coast.

We have a better one close bye. Conisborough this is said to have given Sir Walter Scott the idea for his book Ivanhoe.
