Wisco JB-2

Post by stepper » Mon Jun 20, 2016 10:50 am

Hey there everyone.
After what seemed like forever, I finally picked up my very first 1965 Honda CA77!!!
This will be my first motorcycle and I don't even have a license yet but I am super excited to get her on the road...

Anyway, the only problem with the bike at the moment is the Wisco battery (that still holds a charge) has swelled up and needs a replacement.

I am aware that there are other alternative batteries out there that will fit the CA77 with a bit of modification but I would prefer to get a new Wisco to keep things authentic.

My question is, are there any advantages lost from going with an original Wisco? Would I be better off just getting a modern replacement?

Thanks for any help.

Jason
