shifter sticking
Had this problem on and off where the shifter locks. Not fun in traffic!Have had tranny apart before, but not sure what is the root cause.Could it be a shifting fork?Any ideas to narrow it for when I split the cases again?

Me too!
I am having same problem. Very intermittently. Have cover off to check on everything and noticed that the shifter rod has some play in it. Could this be the cause of my problems.
Fingers crossed I do not have t split the case.
