Great PHOTO of a pair of NICE bikes!! That's nice you have a "DREAM" riding buddy! The black one looks like the original WhiteWall tires. The red one... look wider and maybe Coker?

Jim, I think I'm right in saying back in the 60's when I had a C95 the difference was that the 150 had narrow whitewalls and the 72/77 had broad whitewalls. But what they probably did at the factory was fit whatever was available or what the new owner wanted from the dealer.
Not the narrow whitewalls on my C95 in 1966.

My 1965 305 Dream has narrow white walls. They "look" original. The rear tire is almost smooth in the center. The front tire has cracks as if it is very old. You wonder how many miles on the bike, the speedo says 4725.0 but the speedo cable is broken.

I do believe that Honda along with other manufacturers would use what was available, including tires.

There is also a Red Lion Inn near me! http://www.redlioninn.net/

This is how the CA78 looked when I bought it all I can assume is that those tires are original as it only had 6k on the odometer. I had new tires made up by a whitewall company.

Did you by any chance write down the NAMES of your original tires? Both of my Front & rear tires are are OHTSU 3.25-16. Front being RIBBED, and rear having "squares" as the tread. NOT thick heavy squares like a "knobby" but more subdued.
