finding sprockets

Post by jefftwin » Fri Oct 07, 2016 11:34 am

In my search for a rear sprocket for my CA77, I happened across Sprocket Specialists.com. They list a rear sprocket for CA 77s. Has anyone out there bought one from them?

Am preparing to buy one of theirs myself, they're probably more than adequate — not as if the Dream has enough power to tear up sprockets!

However, I'm planning to go 1 or 2 teeth smaller than stock. The standard gearing is a little bit too short and 1st gear is almost useless.
Do what you've always done and you'll get what you've always had.

Can you tell me what is the stock gearing? David Silver states 28T for the rear. What about the countershaft sprocket? Thanks.
