New to the forum

Post by bebopscooter » Thu Nov 17, 2016 4:23 am

Hello All, being new to the forum I have to introduce myself. Living in Holland and recent owner of a decent Dream 305. It is the same model that I owned new as a youngster. (Yes, I am that old)
The model is the 1964 European type, black, with the flat bars. When finished I will try and put some pictures. First question: I noticed that there are petroltanks with the connection pipes near the petcock. Is this an advantage, because mine has them in the front, near the horn. Asking this, because I need to repair a leak on the petroltank support. Thanks for input on this matter.

Welkom bebopscooter. You will find a lot of information here and no one takes offence if it seems a dumb question we all had to start somewhere. A picture of the bike would be good.

Thank you Casamere, I hope this was not a too dumb question.
Yes LM, this is to balance the fuel amount in both sides of the tank.
Will post pictures in time.
