Rear fender

New guy, found my first setback. Is the rear fender spot welded to the inner support, so you can't remove it?

Rear fender

Hey BUG,
Don’t know about your fender, but thought I’d pass along this;
The site is over run with bots or whatever they’re called. If you scan through the “posters” you’ll see the majority are trash, and it’s been like this for some time now. Hang in there though or google your question for a quick response.

Hi Bug;

I've never known my rear fenders to come apart, but that doesn't mean they can't/won't...they all look pretty welded to me..

Doesn't matter now, I welded it back together, and put the first coat of Bondo on there. Someone cut the old fender off with a saw. I wanted access to the back, but oh, well.

Yeah, a lot of times on these bikes I've noticed some people have chopped off the fender valances; I think that's one of the features that makes the bike cool. But, as they say, there's no accounting for taste.
