shock absorber repair

This neophyte was inspired by the nice post of G-man on how to repair the dream shock absorbers so I thought to give it a go myself. I made some tools, a bit crude but they did the job. I found a repair manual with an exploded view of the front shocks. In the manual I also found that the front shocks contain 24ml of oil and the rear shocks 38ml. I put SAE 30 weight fork oil in them and must say it rides much better now. What a difference. My bike is a 1961 C77.

It is in Dutch of course but has quite a lot of useful information, also about torque settings and other stuff.
