Help w/ Front Wheel removal

Post by jcmzhou » Sat Jun 11, 2011 7:32 am

Hello all,

I've had a '65 Honda Dream for years and am just now starting the tear down to restore it, and I will prefice this with that I know nothing about motorcycles. I have gotten to the front wheel and am puzzled on how to remove it along with the front forks/fender. I have taken just about every visible nut/bolt off that I can see.

Do you tap out the front bolt with a rubber mallet??? what am I missing??

I put a phillips screwdriver (round shaft) through the hole in the bolt head and twist/pull it out.
