Camshaft chain tension

I am very new to this and was wondering which direction to turn the camshaft tension bolt to tighten the chain? haha we all gotta start somewhere right? thanks!

Loosen the nut then the bolt them rotate the rotor as ya watch the shaft of the tensioner and tighten the bolt and nut when the shaft is IN the most. ......lm
