Alternative locations for Condenser

Post by Tracepete » Mon Jul 25, 2011 9:58 pm

I may have to replace my condenser, and rather than drop the motor to do it I'll probably disconnect the old one and mount a new one in a new spot. I'm a picture guy-- seeing it helps me figure things out, so if you have mounted a condenser for a CA77 in an alternative spot and can post a pic that would be very helpful.

If there is one already posted somewhere that someone could point me to that would be great as well.

See here:

Most common seems to be at the cam chain tensioner (maybe because you don't have to splice any wires)....but it doesn't look the best...here's mine

I will eventually move it under the coil cover or under the points cover.
