How to remove kick starter on 1967 Dream 305

I ma trying to take off chain guard but need to remover kick starter. NOt sure how it comes out of case. any help would be great.. Am I going to run into any problems when I remove right side case?

You have to remove the right side cover and the kick starter in one piece. Remove all of the side cover screws and pull on the kick starter and jiggle the whole thing until it comes off.

Important: When you pull the side cover off be aware that there is a small ball bearing in the clutch lifter that may fall out if you lay the side cover down.
