Repair Manual

Post by desiree » Tue Nov 29, 2011 3:50 pm

Hello Im new to site. My name is Desiree and Im looking for a repair manual on a 1966 Honda Dream CA77 305. I want to have it restored so I can ride it but can not locate a manual. Do you know where I can get one at? This would be very helpful.

Thank you
Desiree

As far as I know, and confirmed by the explanation offered in the literature link, this is about all that is available:

Repair Manual

Bill Silver's Dream CD has parts manuals and a restoration manual plus lots of other useful and interesting stuff. If you plan to keep the bike for a while Bill's CD would be a very good investment.

What exactly is it that you want to repair? Don't expect hand holding, but you can get a lot of help from this website.

Desiree - I'm using the Clymer Collection Series Vintage Japanese Street Bikes book; it comes as one volume, but has the manual for the Honda Dream, Kawasaki Z-1 and Kawasaki H-1 models in it. I think it runs about $22 - $30 on Amazon.

It does not mention the CA77 exactly, but it covers the C77 model which is almost identical. It's helped me a lot - that, and this web site.

I strongly recommend getting Bill Silvers CD. It has great information and pictures that are worth a thousand words. Good luck on your resto.
