VIN vs Frame Number

Where are both/either of these located on a '66 CA77 305 Dream?

I have the title, but it doesn't seem to match the number located on the top, left side of the crank case, which I assume is the VIN.

Hopefully, the number I've located is the Frame # and the VIN is located elsewhere and matches my title...

On the left side under the cover and near the footpeg you will see the frame (vin) numbers. .........lm

Thanks, lm...I found it! I couldn't get an inspection sticker (MA) because the guy said the VIN didn't match the Reg, and thought I had a stolen bike! I believed him...glad I found this forum!
