Nice one - welcome to the Forum!

I'm sure that many more learned people will share there views here but first observation is that production stopped around '67 so your '69 will date from then. Check the engine number (top side of crankcase on left) and frame number, (way down on the left hand side just above stand pivot) and tell us what they are.

Look out for rusted mufflers (probably replaced now) as these can be very expensive to replace if you are after originality.

Is the motor stuck? For some reason these bikes have a tendency to seize from rust in the bores if left for any time. Is all of the tinware in place?

You will find a lot of answers here if you use the search facility but please send pictures and we can offer sensible suggestions.

Thanks for the info G-Man! I hope to pick this little jewel up this week and will inform you of what I find. It doesn't have the pipes on so......after looking on E-Bay I see that they don't come cheep! I'm giving a $150.00 for it....with some bits missing....handle bars...headlight bucket.....seat......pipes......most I have located already. I'm sure I will have a ton of questions......glad to see this forum, they are a great help in bringing old bikes back to life. Thanks again man!

I have a frame with headlight and a tank that I could let go pretty cheaply.

I am in Hickory, NC.
