They have always been different teeth count and I'm sure ya can find the answer in a parts book.
Not worth my time to give an answer any more than ya answer my question about your opening statement several messages back. .......................lm

I thought I had answered all your questions. On the clutch springs I told you everything I know and anything else will have to wait until I strip the motor back in Australia.

On the cam gear I though I had answered all the questions too.

What did I miss?

My C/CA parts books are back in Australia, so I can't compare the numbers until I get back there and it can wait until then.

Thanks for the "help"

"Apropos of nothing,"

One of your replies has this to start the first sentence to my statement.
I asked ya a couple of times what ya meant and ya ignore my question.
Ya asked me for pics of a good sprocket part which I gave and still no reply to my question.
So now ya ask for the difference of the gears and still no reply.
Well ya can get your own answers for all I care. ............lm

Is that what you wanted to know about? It's just an expression. I used it in the context because my reply was not a direct reply to the original post but was slightly at a tangent.

I wasn't ignoring you. I just didn't understand what the question was. I did see that you quoted that back at me, but had no idea that you wanted me top explain the expression or why I used it.

One of the guys I work with uses it all the time as a segue, a way to change the subject slightly or to make a reply that wasn't really being asked for, but seemed to be somewhat relevant.

Sorry you felt snubbed, but that was never my intent.

And thanks again for the information you provided previously.

I thank ya for the answer ya just sent.
What I first read and the fact ya made no previous attempt to explain the statement ya can bet for sure I felt ya were demeaning my reply for some reason.
I'll go on from here however the gears in the C/CA72/77 engines are a different count but nothing to get excited about to me. .................lm
