CA77 - CB77 Whats different aside from frame?

Post by Head413 » Fri Mar 05, 2010 3:21 pm

I need to know if things like the gas tank, engine, or other major assemblies are swappable between the two. I have a good CB77 frame and bits and have a line on a good cheap complete Dream. Thanks for any help, I know I could do a search and learn, but I'm pressed for time on this one.

There isn't much interchangeable other than the tank badges, the stator and possibly the starter.

Aren't the bottom ends more or less the same - apart from the Type 1 type 2 crank? Barrels and transmission are the same too.Rockers are the same too. The head, cams, intakes, carbs and crank are different.

Rolling chassis - basically everything is different as already mentioned.

That's interesting. I never had a dream apart. What are the tooth numbers on the gears by comparison to CB?
