I must have a mental problem, or like to torture myself...

Ok, so here I go again with the nearly impossible. I purchased a 1959 Honda C71 Fire Bike in quite horrible shape, but I'm still going to try to restore it. I'm pretty set on the regular parts, but lack the siren. It is rear wheel "pivot driven", not like my CYP77 that is mounted up in the front with a pivot cable in the rear. It still has the brackets and the activation lever like my CP, but from the way it mounts I can tell the siren was a little smaller and drove directly off the wheel.

Does anyone have any photos out there? I am assuming it would still be made by Tokyo Siren Co. like the CP. I have seen the hand driven sirens of the 50's and may be able to fabricate a drive spindle, but would love to find some photo.

I'm also wondering if anyone knows if it had red lights on it. Of course the CP does, as does the fire version of the CP in 1964, but I just don't see where they would have mounted on a C71....

Any help is appreciated!

Paul
