In 1965 I started to race a slightly modified CB72, in the 250 class in the UK. and the Southern 100 in the Isle of Man.
For the 1996 season I converted it to a 305 then a full 350, designed and built a new frame similar to Delta Box but using quite large diameter tubes, fitted Norton Forks a swinging arm and a Fontana Front Brake. The engine was fitted with a Harmon and Collins Cam, larger bore Amal concentric Carbs and a 5 speed CR Gearbox.
The bike ran very well and was quicker than a Norton or 7R, but it required special parts making to cope with the increased power and I ran out of money.[/img]
