I am restoring a 1961 Dream CS72, and the headlight shell that was on the bike has the "honda" emblem under the headlight. Many pictures of early dreams don't seem to have the emblem. Is there any kind of rhyme or reason that some have them and some don't? Many thanks, Paul

Paul; my understanding is that all early, seamless tank dreams did not have the emblem on the headlite shell and also used the gray fender gasket. that has been 100% true on all of my bikes and others I have seen. but I am not familiar with non US bikes, maybe that's what you have.
Thanks
Randy

Thanks Randy. I do have the gray colored fender gasket. I may have the wrong headlight shell and it was replaced later. I know the C71 doesn't have the emblem, and I think your right, the early C72's probably didn't have it.
