i think most of the early honda's are copy's of other bikes, but i still like this early stuff, just got the speedo out today to send off for repair, you cant see from the front, it has 6 bulbs in the back of it.e3steve wrote:Looking at your ME, it reminds me of a Puch 175 split single that, as a disqualified 17-year-old, I had in my garden for a year or so -- 'till my old man went bloody garrity one weekend and I had to dispose of it fast (like, that day!)

many thanks, i have a long way to go ,before i get there, i like to keep the bike all in one bit, and do the repairs first, i fnd that way stuff dont get lost, the sppeedo has gone to repairs , will get him to send some pics , just found when i was going through some paper work, an owners manual and brochure, will add a pic.e3steve wrote:Jeepers! Hey allan , i think your right about looking like other bikes , at first glance it looks alarming similar to a NSU max special  circa 1955.... i have looked high andlow for a jc 58-59 ... but now have decided to stick with the dream and/or superhawk just for parts availability ... and the fact that this will be my first bike restore.. if all goes well it do a jc next... mr honda willing...... just another devote believer who prays at the alter of internal combustion...lolol... nick
