CB77 Owner's handbook...

Post by e3steve » Fri Sep 24, 2010 10:55 am

...is here for the taking, people. ¡Mi casa es su casa!

I've inserted the corrected, colour wiring diagram within.

EDIT: Go here for a higher-resolution version; it prints much better.

Larf! You're welcome Mar' & Jim (and everyone, for that matter!).

I've uploaded several OHBs; C/CA, CB, CB250K, etc. Hope the links still work...

I've not been around much, as my CB77's been buried in the garage and has remained untouched for five years. My latest affair has been with a brace of Citroën C6s since April 2013; first, a 2.7HDi and, more recently, a 3.0HDi. The 2.7L has been quite needy, but the 3.0L is more forgiving (here's hoping...).

I'll be back in the saddle soon as, spookily and today, I've exumed the ol' CB from the storage garage and moved it and the bike-lift into the main garage. I've just 'designed' a tag-plate that will bolt onto my Clarke engine stand, thus allowing me to mount the engine for the ensuing work.

Mar', I still have that rear fender put aside for you but I'm glad I've not yet shipped it; I need it as a template for my replacement CB77 frame (mine is currently a donor '61 CB72 frame, which is awkward due to the shorter seat rear mounting tags), whereby I need to weld some missing tags to the battery tray, and I don't want to risk scratching the lovely new fender during offering-up and jigging!

If anyone needs a nice, black powdercoated original 1961 CB72 frame, please PM me...
