Hard to find in my area (vancouver island ) Is there an acceptable alternate say in dupli-color or some other brand? thanks

I had my local building supply (Gibsons Building Supply) order in a case of 6 cans for me. They were here the next day.

I used Dupli-Color "Cast Coat Aluminum" Engine Enamel. It has been very durable and resistant to fuel. You can find several pictures of the bike and parts here:

Another alternative, found by accident while looking for exhaust collar paint!

Carb covers are Rustoleum, engine cover still original paint.

i powdercoated a ca95 benly and my project 63 dream engine in a standard silver ad added gloss killer in the silver powder coat. engine look great! very close to the aluminum color of the engine
